Living in Saskatchewan, we understand the challenges of snow and ice in those cold winter months. At Lush Lawn we strive to offer the best snow removal services in the business. We offer a wide range of commercial snow services and provide professional removal of snow and ice, and we are ready 24/7 to accommodate any and all snow needs or services. Our services include parking lot and sidewalk snow plowing, snow hauling, and ice control/sanding.
Prior to the winter season, we visit each property to inspect the site, performing a detailed pre-season inspection, photographing key areas, and beginning to lay the foundation for a snow response plan. We then utilize web-based technology to prepare an image of the site, overlaid with information for the placement of snow piles, priority areas, and special instructions.
We ensure that a unique strategy is developed for each property, including the assignment of required equipment, operators, sidewalk personnel, materials, and supervision.
The clearing of snow is typically performed by a combination of equipment, from large loaders with pusher boxes to pickup trucks with smaller snow plows. Our seasoned operators and drivers are careful to place snow where it belongs.
We also offer sanding, as this can provide a solution for icy and slippery parking lots.
Now offering liquid ice melt!!
Lush Lawn is now proud to offer liquid ice melt as part of our snow removal process. The product we use is potassium acetate. This is the same product that they use to de-ice aircraft is is FAA approved. It has a working temperature of up to -60!. Not only does this product provide great ice melting characteristics, it is also one of the safest alternatives of regular ice melts and salt sand. It is safe for all surfaces and is non-corrosive!
Maintaining clear sidewalks during harsh winters is critical to ensuring safe access to pedestrian walkways, steps, handicap ramps, and building entrances. The reduction of slip-and-fall accidents is a significant by-product of maintaining clear sidewalks. We utilize dedicated sidewalk personnel who have received extensive training, site-specific instruction, and are supervised by an area leader.
We have invested in specialized equipment for sidewalks such as walk-behind rotary brooms, snow-blowers, and skid steers with brooms and/or blades for larger properties. As well we apply highly-effective de-icing materials on sidewalks – able to melt snow or ice in temperatures as low as -30 degrees.
Monitoring weather forecasts and conditions is a key factor in maintaining a successful snow removal program. We have the technology, personnel, and experience to give customers the extra peace of mind. Our team monitors the weather 24/7 during the winter months so that our customers don’t have to. Variables such as surface temperature, air temperature, relative humidity, type of precipitation, and amount of precipitation day or night, expected temperatures and cloud cover during daytime hours make decision-making an important part of the job. Our experienced team is able to assess these variables and make the right call.
